Fashion Tip for Men: How your shirt should fit

Hey fellas! This is your CFO of JayMan here just giving you some tips on fashion from the mens details style manual. This book is a must have for all of you guys that think you r stylish ( and even those stylish men such as myself and my business partner refer to this to make our looks even better).

For your shirts: button ups that is......

the perfect fit is as follows

The Torso:

the fit should be snug in the chest, but not so snug that the fabric pulls between the buttons. (that means if you are not sure what your real size is then seek out a tailor and he will help you to find your measurements and what size you really are).

The Back:

Bigger guys (which means fellas that are broader around the shoulders, big arms etc) should buy a shirt with box pleats between the shoulder blades, this will allow more room without extra volume. Those guys with slimmer builds such as myself should go for more fitted styled shirts that contour down toward the waist. Either way, the seams of the shirt should lie on the curve of your deltoids (the muscles right behind your shoulders, you know the ones that would get some work if you did push-ups lol).

The Waist:

Sit down while you're wearing your shirt. It should skim your waist but leave enough room to give when you're seated (and full)

The Neck:

The golden rule here hasn't changed. You should be able to comfortably fit two fingers in between your neck and collar of the shirt when it's buttoned.

The Sleeves:

The cuffs of the shirt should fall in the crook between the base of your thumb and your wrist.

The Tails:

The tails should be long enough to lie under your rear end when your seated. that will prevent the shirt from riding up or coming untucked. It will also give you better posture.
